Apple’s iPhone 11 Pro Triggering Fear of Holes

The next-generation iPhone could be made of metal as opposed to glass. Apple’s 5.5-inch iPhone 11 Pro is triggering the fear of holes, say experts.

If the series of rumors about the design is true, the phones could be stacked like mounds with a large number of “dial heads”. The maps app and the wide touchscreen will be wrapped around their seams.

Business researcher Girish Ray said: “The next iPhone is pushing the envelope of creating a device that is massive, powerful, and thin yet simultaneously premium.”

He analysed information from the iPhone X. He published a report about his findings at Apple’s developer conference in San Francisco, taking a close look at each of the handsets. The iPhone X costs US$999, the iPhone 10 Plus costs US$1,149. 60 April 2016: iPhoneX Features the next-generation iPhone Display: A larger screen to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 New processors: Eight-core A11 chip with new graphics processing unit.

Permanently unbreakable iPhones will have iris recognition to unlock the Animoji App. The app recognizes normal facial expressions.

“The iPhone X is loaded up with three things that those who have flown a close but yet not travelled many moons will be willing to pay for,” he said. The iPhone X has an aluminium finish. Then there is the largest battery ever offered, a bigger 5.8-inch screen, and multiple cameras and a 12MP telephoto lens.

Mr Ray said it was not surprising Apple had decided to include a battery with the iPhone X. “Because of the density of the battery, the iPhone X has double the power that the iPhone 7 did,” he said. “This was thought. I understand Apple is trying to keep the power of the phone lower to save on batteries.”

Massive phones: New iPhone Sparks Fears

A phone with a battery with a thickness of 20% would be able to match the range of Android devices, Mr Ray added. In other words, the metal bezel will be made of plastic, but added to the 6-inch screen, “but it would still be ridiculously large”.

He went on to say that the gap between the bezel and the screen was 10cm (5.4in) across, making it impossible to take a photo vertically. “It’s set to hit all new dimensions with the iPhone X,” he said. He also said the size of the new phones was “incredibly big”, like people have been saying for years. “It looks to me like we are going to start seeing phone sizes that are big.”
